Saturday, April 21st...PM

...And speaking of being a blink away from talking--

A couple of nights ago Andy and Bill heard Annie say "Daaa." Like "Dad," except for the last consonant. Okay, I'll give Bill that. I had been praying that the first word Annie says is Dad. (With the exception of last month's "OW!) So Bill gets the first word: "Dad."

But, just to top that, this afternoon Olivia was reading to Annie one of her favorite books, Dr. Seuss' "One Fish, Two Fish." When Olivia got to the page that says:

We see them come.
We see them go.
Some are fast.
And some are slow.
Some are high.
And some are low.

Not one of them is like another.
Don't ask us why.
Go ask your....(mother.)

Olivia waited a moment and Annie jumped in, finished the sentence and said, "Mama!"

Now, was I in the room when she said this? OF COURSE NOT!! But--Aunt Susie, Taylor & Olivia heard it. So there's my verification of this monumental accomplishment. Now you know that God answers prayer!

Signed:

One happy mama--Jean

Whoa, MAMA!

Oh wait, no, it's YO! MAMA!

WOW!! Only a mom would really understand that....! How wonderful! (yeh, even if Bill did get the first try, she perfected it with Mama!)

Wahoo! It was so nice to see Annie's pink self in church today. What a cutie. Now, Gretchen is usually harder to say, but I think she needs a goal. :)

And the voice
with one tiny word
can change the world

When we listen
we can hear marvelous things
when we hope
we encourage by prayer
when we believe
we know it can be so

When we love
there are no limits.

The heart
filled to overflowing
can encourage the silent
to shout from the mountaintops
"I am!"

And there she is
your baby
calling out to you

Oh, the voice
oh, the magnificent word
what a beautiful thing.

Dear Annie,
It was sooooo great to see you yesterday!
The Lord is your shepherd; you shall not want. He maketh you to lie down in lush, green pastures, He leadeth you beside calm, still, peaceful waters. He restoreth your soul and health.
The Lord cherishes you and heals you daily. He lifts up your mommy and daddy with the support, strength, and courage they need. He enfolds your family with His Loving Grace. He guides the doctors and all who are entrusted with your care and healing For it is His wish that you be completly healed. The Light of God surrounds you to keep you safe. The Love of God enfolds you. Rest peacefully in the arms of the Lord as He heals you. The Lord has you in His eternal, loving care. You will prosper there.
Have a beautiful week, Annie. God loves you., Su :-)

WOOO HOOOO!!! What a joyful sound, Annie! Make some more -- we're all listening!

Wow...if that isn't a message of "keep up the good work" from God, then I don't know what is!

How exciting! I read this everyday and just marvel at it. I know complete healing all at once would be so wonderful and optimal. And I realize that this is easy for me to say, because I am not going through all the hard work and parental angst; but it is an amazing blessing to see God's hand and answered prayer increment by increment, step by step. Wow! What a blessing! Praise God! And way to go Annie and everybody!
Love and prayers,
Terri Whitman

Annie's vocal abilities are a direct answer to petitions to Jesus since the day she originally went to the hospitol. The accompanying prayer will be answered the day she communicates her love to you through a "bear" hug! We so love you Sullivans... Thank you Lord!
