Rehab diaries--Saturday, May 26th

Thank you Terri, Rebecca & Veronica for your posts. Hearing from you all who are keeping up with Annie is gas in my tank.:)

We brought her home for an overnight visit tonight, and tomorrow we'll go to church. It's been a good, restful evening. God's mercies are new every morning. And evening!

Jean

This I recall to my mind,
Therefore I have hope.
Through the LORD’s mercies we are not consumed,
Because His compassions fail not.
They are new every morning;
Great is Your faithfulness. Isaiah 3:21-23

Hey there, Annie!

Hope you are having a nice weekend at home! Smart girl holding out for the whipped cream and peanut butter ice cream instead of eating that applesauce! :) Glad you are lip-synching Happy Birthday, and I will pretend it was for me since I just had a "big one" ha! :)

I am proud of you! Here you spent over three years learning all that stuff and how you have to do it all again! What a bum rap! But you are up to it and doing just super! I pray for you every day. I know you can't read or understand this now but your Mommie is saving it all so someday when you are older and better I pray it can bless you and remind you of how much God... and WE... love you!

Oh and Jean... I do read all this several times a day and pray, even though I don't always post! Love you to you and all the family!

Hi Annie!

I can't wait to see you this Tuesday. Just barely more than one day away since it's night time on Sunday. I'm so proud of all your hard work, Little One. You rock! I love Reeses, too. Tell your mom to let me know if there's any special flavor of ANYTHING, and I'll bring it to you on Tuesday.

God's mercies are new each day, sweetie. It was gas in MY tank to see you at church. I know your family was so excited to have you there, especially Daddy. It was a big day for him.

Many hugs!
Gretchen

To Jean, Annie, and the whole "crew",

I am so encouraged to have come across your page and see the richness of your faith in the midst of a long and difficult trial. God is kind, and I am so thankful he has put you in my path. It is wonderful knowing that your trust and hope is in the Lord, and I will pray fervently that He continues to heal you, and for Him to grant wisdom and skill to all those lucky to be working with you! :)

Love, Kathy (PT)

We are so happy to hear about Annie's continued progress. We continue to lift her up in prayer, and you her family as well.
We are thrilled to hear about her increasing ability to focus. This makes such a difference for everyone. She is a very special girl.
I have worked with autistic children learning to taste and eat. I know what a challenge it can be for everyone. It sounds like everyone is doing well with it. The yummies you thought to bring in sound great to us too! The more fun the tastes, the more motivated everyone can be. We will prayer for God's inspirations on motivating choices to share with her.
Thank you for being open and sharing your experiences with us all so freely. God's presence can be felt whenever we read this sight.
Hugs and Prayers,

Jennifer, Sydne, Kiegin, and Ashton Evertz

Hi!
I am so glad I could connect with you today, Jean. I have been praying for you...I think about Annie and your family often. I will continue to pray for healing and that you can find a resting place in Jesus. He loves Annie and your family so much and is right beside you while you walk through this confusing journey. Thank you for being such a light for Christ! You are touching more lives than you know just by keeping your hope in Him.
Love,
Rebecca (SLP)
