Seven years ago today God miraculously and suddenly healed Bill after he suffered from the parkinsonism, PSP, for 3 years. Having that experience is now, for us, a mixed blessing. We know from personal experience that God can heal miraculously. But we're also reminded that God is sovereign over the universe, our lives, our health, and our kids. This isn't an easy time. We sure appreciate your prayers as we walk through this.

God sometimes shuts the door and shuts us in, that He may speak, perchance through grief or pain, and softly, heart to heart, above the din, may tell some precious thought to us again. Anonymous

Lord, this is an amazing, awe-inspiring anniversary for Bill and Jean, because without this anniversary, there would be no Annie. This is also a gut-wrenching time, because they haven't prayed any less fervently for Annie to be healed than for Bill to be healed. Father, I know that you alone are holy and omnipotent and omniscient. Your ways are mysterious. We see such a fractured picture of Your whole vision. I pray that You would be merciful to this family, yet again, and be a tangible, evident presence in their lives. We cry out for a healing touch on little Annie Sullivan, but we also cry out for a healing of the entire family. Lord, incredible, Abba Father--comfort and heal and walk hand in hand with them, I pray. I praise You for who You are, and I praise You because I know you love them so. In Jesus' name. Amen.

Lord God, you are sovereign. Your ways and your thoughts are higher than ours. I run to you today and cry out, along with Bill and Jean and their family and ask in the name of Jesus that you would help us in our weakness, that you may be glorified and your strength be displayed. I stand with the Sullivans and know that as they may be pressed down they will not be crushed. I hold them up in prayer today and ask that you fill them with new strengh and hope and I thank you for the amazing strength you have already given them.In Jesus name I ask you to heal Annie. Your mercies are new every morning. Great is your faithfulness. Amen

Holy Spirit, pray through us to the Father,,,

Rom 8:26 Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.

Oh, just judge who can
please we beg you, do.
Oh, the one who drew the sun
that day past night will have begun.
Oh to thine whose word is true
Oh whose voice, a loving touch
We humbly fall on our knees to you
Ye who loveth us so much.

Oh just judge we beseech thee
We lift to you our precious Annie
That your pow'r be so clearly shown
That none other like you could e'er be known.

And though our wishes united be
and our prayers cried out to you,
As it is done, we know, in Heaven
May your will be done here too.

Just judge who can, we pray you will
with swiftness o'er the wind
Let not another day go by
as on an eagle's wings may fly
That you may see it fit to do
another miracle befitting you.

Hoarse voices cry their pain to you
Our ravaged hearts cease not to pray!
Oh just judge we beg you, DO!
Heal our Annie this very day!

"God sometimes shuts the door and shuts us in, that He may speak, perchance through grief or pain, and softly, heart to heart, above the din, may tell some precious thought to us again."

Then may it be Lord that they know
with no shadow of a doubt
that they are loved on this earth so
and in you they are ne'er without.

And if you've shut them in for now
to speak then, heart to heart
tell them so they know somehow
and quit tearing them apart!

Lord you hear and know it all
the tears, the grief and pain
Lord before the next sun doth fall
I cry to you yet again.

Heal Annie, not because
she's miles above the rest
We ask that you heal her
and relieve them of this test
We love you and we trust you, Lord
And we love Annie too
We simply pray for her healing
Because it’s something YOU can do.

They have shown repeatedly
their love and trust in you
we simply pray for her healing
because it's something YOU can do.

You’ve done it once for Bill
And a million times before
We ask that you align your will
To the pounding at your door.

So speak to them Lord
so that they know
release these hearts, Lord
Let them go!

a simple prayer from a simple mind - Father in Heaven, please help Annie to talk. Please help her past the moans and groans and grunts and screams and shrieks to the WORD...in every sense of that word. Please Jesus, I pray for a soft and gentle WORD from Annie's heart thru her vocal cords and across her lips to You. Please heal this part of our Annie quickly and completely...and then, of course, You can graciously work on everything else :-) Amen
