Dining with Annie

Take a look at the new video that Bill put up that shows Annie eating "Trader Joe's Veggie Sticks," which are crunchy, salty, and melt in your mouth, not on your hands. I took the video yesterday while OT Beth was working with her. Annie hasn't eaten much by mouth at all this whole year, and if she has, it has been under duress. This past week or so, she has taken leaps and bounds in her DESIRE and ability to put food in her mouth, then chew and swallow. This is a huge answer to prayer--H.U.G.E.

Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil;
For You are with me;
Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.

You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies;
You anoint my head with oil;
My cup runs over. Psalm 23:4-5

Praise the Lord for FOOD! She certainly knows what it's for, and is working on all SORTS of ways to get it to her mouth! Bless her heart, she's a Sullivan, after all!
This made me tingle all over with joy!

And tonight I fed her little bits of cheese off my low-fat, low-calorie (not) pizza. She seemed to like it--in fact, she was reaching for it with her mouth--and didn't gag or throw up. You wanted to know the details, didn't you?

Oh this is SUPER! Thanks for the video! I am sure Annie will LOVE to know someday that a video of her eating was posted all over the Internet and gloated over by Mommie and Daddy's friends. :) And wow just look at the way she is coordinating those hands! Yay God!!

Veggie fries and pizza... a girl after my own heart! :)

I am jazzed, too! I'm so happy to have been in on the timing and celebration of this! Love those reaching, hands, too! Keep reaching, us all how to keep reaching for things desired. Sometimes, spiritually speaking, your efforts remind me of my own. :)
