Tough day

Well, so far, the nausea medicine isn't working. And, today Annie's seizures were incessant. Needless to say, we're still in the hospital. I wish I knew what was the cause of these problems. I don't know if they're all related, or if it is a number of random things happening at the same time. It's hard to watch her suffer like this. As soon as she sits up and looks around, she's hit with another seizure. We really need God's help.

Do not be afraid nor dismayed because of this great multitude, for the battle is not yours, but God's.

Lord, please strengthen the doctor's caring for Annie Sullivan. They try so hard to be like You and heal their patients. Lord, let them humbly ask for Your guidance and direction to know how to help Annie. Open their eyes and let them see what they have missed. Show them the way to heal Annie to be whole and perfect as You created her. Ease Annie's siezures, Lord, so she may heal. Light the path beneath our feet to help heal Annie with our prayers. Our defense is You. Your healing touch keeps Annie whole and perfect. We entrust her care to You and Your divine wisdom. Lord, sustain Bill and Jean, and the other children as they go through this trying time. Let them know the power of Love and the awesome power of Your Love. When they are weak and weary, let them rest in You. Bring this family ever closer togethter in love, unity, and mutual support. Strenghten them to have the stamina to under take everything that must be done with a loving, understanding heart. Let love be the the strength that carries them through. You have touched Jean in a special way. Let her light and love be unfailing in lifting up her family. Let Bill be the strength to sustain Jean. Let Bill be the strength to help and sustain Annie. Let his love for her reach out, touch her and breathe new strength in her. Let Bill know that this is You, dear Lord, working through him. Bless this family as they work through this. Keep You Light strong within each of them. You are their everlasting source of strength. As in the poem "Footsteps", gather them in Your loving arms until they find their way. Lord, You are the Light of the world, and the Glory forever. We come to You because You are our salvation. In God''s Name we pray. Amen.

We are charged to weep with those who weep. I am. My prayers stay unexpressed on this page but not before our Holy God. I say Amen to all those petitions that I know are before Him, seeking His mercy for you all. Only His love for us exceeds ours for our children but that can seem very vague in circumstances like yours. May the God of all comfort be supernaturally revealed anew in your hearts. May He show His mighty healing hand on dear Annie.
