Acknowledgement

ac·knowl·edg·ment or ac·knowl·edge·ment (āk-nŏl'ĭj-mənt) n. An expression of thanks or a token of appreciation.

Today let's talk about YOU, and allow me to thank you for keeping up with this blog, and for praying for Annie. I can't say too often how much I appreciate your interest, your love, and your prayers for us, and in particular, Annalee. We are humbled by your faithfulness in praying for her, because really, it's hard work. And you don't see the day-to-day answers to your prayers. But let me say emphatically that she would not be where she is today without God's specific answers to your prayers, and I will continue to try to describe those answers so you know God hears you and He acts!

So, thank you Gretchen, Sue, Tanya, Terri, Teena, Rebecca, Jeff, Pam, Dan, Jacque, Debbie C., Lisa C., Vern & Audrey, Kathy C., Janice O., Janice M., Judi, Cindy, Paulette, Kim, Vickie, Kathy D., Susan & Van M., Grandmommie, Susie, Janet, Sharon, Suzy, Kendra, Barbara, Marilyn, Jennifer M., Mary B., Andrea, Maurita, Linda, Callie, Taylor, Patti, Peter, Andy, Beth H., Kathy OT, Rebecca G., Lynn and all Annie's other friends who check in here regularly to see how little Miss Muffet is doing. You are official members of Team Annie, and deserve a big hug today for your part in her recovery. And if I missed your name, post a comment and let me know you're here!

Jean

He delivered us from such a deadly peril, and he will deliver us. On him we have set our hope that he will deliver us again. You also must help us by prayer, so that many will give thanks on our behalf for the blessing granted us through the prayers of many. 2 Corinthians 1:10-11

I am proud and honored to be a member of Team Annie.
And what a fitting verse!
Speaking of fitting.......I am going to a Beth Moore Bible study on Esther (my first!) Learning lots about God's time, among other things. It made me think of you guys; because your waiting must be so hard. But, you handle it so gracefully and bring honor and glory to the Lord all along the way. And Annie is getting better and better and better.
Continuing love and prayers,
Terri W

If only you truly knew how much we thank you! Not only are we here to check on our beloved Annie but also for the regular "feeding" we get from you. Your wisdom, humbleness, experience and love come through each blog and I usually close down the computer feeling like I have just listened to a very powerful lesson. So GOD BLESS YOU Jean! and everything you do for us and don't even know. You are all in our prayers! (Even Jeff's, Praise The Lord!)

Tanya hit the nail square on!
My sister back in PA reads your blog, and she says the same thing: your words are so inspirational!

Someone should compile your blog into a book...it would be a best=seller!

It is a continuing work of Jesus...not only in Annie, but like
you all say, in me. And, I guess in you guys too. God does a million good things in one sweep of His hand. Some day it'll all make sense.

1 Cor 15:12 For now we see through a glass darkly, but then face to face. Now I know in part, but then shall I know even as also I am known. -- kjv

Back in Paul's day mirrors were made of bronze and did not reflect as well as a modern glass mirror. This helps us to understand this verse, since seeing through a glass or mirror did not give a true and pure image. The mirror image represents the best possibility that we have in this life of seeing God's image. On earth we only see evidences of God, reflections of God, impressions of God. God reveals much to us, but only so much as we are able to understand in this life.

But in the resurrection we will see God face to face, beholding God fully, interacting with God as completely as we interact with our fellow humans here on earth. Indeed our relationship to God in the resurrection will surpass anything we know of here on earth. Paul says it best when he says "I shall know even as also I am known." Here he seems to be speaking of the way God knows him in this life, and his hope is that in the next life, he will know himself just as fully as God knows him now, with complete and full knowledge beyond our earthly abilities.
