Happy Easter!

What a God we have! And how fortunate we are to have him, this Father of our Master Jesus! Because Jesus was raised from the dead, we've been given a brand-new life and have everything to live for, including a future in heaven—and the future starts now! God is keeping careful watch over us and the future. The Day is coming when you'll have it all—life healed and whole.

I know how great this makes you feel, even though you have to put up with every kind of aggravation in the meantime. Pure gold put in the fire comes out of it proved pure; genuine faith put through this suffering comes out proved genuine. When Jesus wraps this all up, it's your faith, not your gold, that God will have on display as evidence of his victory.

You never saw him, yet you love him. You still don't see him, yet you trust him—with laughter and singing. Because you kept on believing, you'll get what you're looking forward to: total salvation. 1 Peter 1:3-9 (The Message)

Prayers for YOU all to have a blessed Easter because He lives!

Jean

Thanks, Jean. I needed that. I can never hear it too often. He is risen; he is risen, indeed!

Indeed.

And all He does is perfect, though in our limited humanness we often cannot understand. In our limited patience we cannot wait. In our limited human endurance we cannot stand it.

It is in our limitedness that we crumble to our knees, and it is there that He finds us, weak and small, and He touches us gently and says "Rise up, my precious child. I will walk with you."

What an amazing God.
That He would walk with us. That He is there for us, anytime, anywhere, in every single detail.

What an amazing God.
That He would give His son to a world like this, to be brutalized, mocked and killed, and raise Him up again.

For us.

(((taking a break from my concerns to focus on Annie))

Dear Lord, thank you for my beautiful niece, Annie. Here saga has touched so many and shown Your goodness in so many ways. Thank you for dear sweet Annie.

Lord, I pray that You would heal Your little girl and bring even more glory to the Father. It's Your name that we call upon; it's Your love that we crave; it's You and You alone who loves us like no other can.

Thank you, Jesus,,,

Thank you,,,

Psa 8:1 O LORD our Lord, how excellent is thy name in all the earth! who hast set thy glory above the heavens.

Psa 8:2 Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings hast thou ordained strength because of thine enemies, that thou mightest still the enemy and the avenger.

Psa 8:3 When I consider thy heavens, the work of thy fingers, the moon and the stars, which thou hast ordained;

Psa 8:4 What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him?

Psa 8:5 For thou hast made him a little lower than the angels, and hast crowned him with glory and honour.

Psa 8:6 Thou madest him to have dominion over the works of thy hands; thou hast put all things under his feet:

Psa 8:7 All sheep and oxen, yea, and the beasts of the field;

Psa 8:8 The fowl of the air, and the fish of the sea, and whatsoever passeth through the paths of the seas.

Psa 8:9 O LORD our Lord, how excellent is thy name in all the earth!
