"Hi"

Last Saturday night, friends Kristi & Levi stayed with Annie while we went to a wedding. While we were gone, Annie repeated the phrase recorded on one of her communication devices: "Hi, Annie!" Kristi said she wasn't sure if she REALLY said it the first time--until she said it again, "Hi, Annie!"

Today when I picked her up from preschool, she looked up at me and said,"Hiiiyah."
So, we're getting the social greetings down--what a major answer to prayer--thank you, Lord!

And now for the not-so-good news: Annie seems to be going into another gaggy stage. Not sure why. You might pray that we figure it out quickly...it could be the diet, or some supplement, or one of her meds. But it's stressful. I guess it could be worse. She could be gaggy and not saying, "Hiiiyah!"

Hi, Annie!

So cool to know you are learning your 'old' vocab again!!! Way cool!

So NOT cool to hear you're having trouble swallowing and/or keeping your dinner down. I'll be praying for you on that one.

Bless you, my sweet,

Hiyah, sweet cheeks!!! Oh, Jean, this is soooo cool. Thank you for sharing.

I'll pray about the gagginess. Bummer. But I'm thrilled about the Jiffy tube.

hugs and prayers,
Gretchen

Oh, cheers and _______(what's the opposite of cheers?)!

So fun to hear that she's picked up a phrase. And glad you got to go to the wedding. I would've LOVED to have been able to be there to heart that!!!

Of course, not encouraging to hear about the gagging. Hope it's easily corrected...wonder if it's related to the new g-tube?

Your perspective is encouraging to me, Jean. It's so readily apparent that you let yourself be upheld by supernatural Comfort.

With prayer,
Beth
