Dreams--2nd edition

Often in the morning, before Annie wakes up to get ready for school, I sit down and check out the news on the internet. So a few days ago, I was reading about the paraplegic guy who had been bitten by a spider, and subsequently (I forget why) is now able to walk, using a walker. Did you guys see that? I thought it was pretty amazing. He hadn't walked in 21 years, I think, after he had lost the use of his legs in a motorcycle accident. Now he walks with a walker. So after I watched that, I thought, "Hmm, I guess Annie walking again isn't that great of a stretch after all."

Later that morning, I picked up Annie after school and while I was lifting her into the van, her nurse mentioned to me that one of the OT's had a dream about Annie. In her dream, Annie was walking with a walker.

That is super to hear, Jean. Such an encouragement! I don't think it is so far fetched to "dream" of Annie walking again! I am praying for it and I believe God is going to make it happen! Just look at how far she has come; NO reason not to hope and pray that she will continue to progress! God says to let our requests be made known to Him, so I am continuing to ask Him to make it happen!

Thanks, Sue. I believe He hears our prayers, and I really believe that she will walk again. But you know, just like when little toddlers start walking it presents new challenges, I know that when Annie starts walking again, my life will get even more interesting. Okay--let me tell you about the dream I had about THAT: she was scrambling over all sorts of high places, not a care in the world, and not exactly being cautious,as I was trying to keep up with her to keep her safe. The up side of that is--it'll be good aerobic exercise!

And where can we buy one of those spiders....? God works in mysterious ways, for sure!
