Tuesday, May 1st

Happy May Day. Never quite understood what May Day was all about, but happy May Day anyway. Something about flowers, I think.

Yesterday Annie took a leap in her attention--she seemed more "there" when she looked at you, and she was smiling alot. Of course, today she looked tired and groggy all day, so one step forward, one back. However, tonight she perked up and was rolling around the living room and "talking" back and forth with Olivia. Not words, remember...but mimicking Olivia's intonations.

Please continue praying that her attention, endurance, speech, strength and coordination increase, that she adjusts to her new doses of medicines, and that she has no nausea or throwing up. It is so hard to know what to do from minute to minute, because she can't tell us how she feels--we either have to read her cues accurately or find out the hard way. God really has to help us with this.

Her rehab evaluation at Children's is next Wednesday. Please pray for that whole day, especially Annie's endurance and responses to commands.

Thanks again for your prayers--we so appreciate your faithful intercession for us!

Jean

O LORD, I call upon you; hasten to me!
Give ear to my voice when I call to you!
Let my prayer be counted as incense before you,
and the lifting up of my hands as the evening sacrifice! Psalm 141:1-2
